Al Rokerhas madehis long-awaited returnto morning television after suffering a recent health scare that involved multiple hospitalizations.

“Right now I’m running on adrenaline, so I’m just thrilled to be here.”
Roker announced that he had beenhospitalized due to multiple blood clotsin his leg and lungs in November.
Roberts praised her husband’s recovery and the doctors that fought to save his life.
“Al was a very, very, very sick man.
And I think most people did not know that.”
To which Roker jokingly remarked, “I had no idea how bad off I was.
I thought I was doing pretty good!”
The TV personality revealed that he underwent major surgery so that correct “two complicating things” happening internally.
“I lost half my blood, and they were trying to figure out where it was.
He then joked, “I went in for one operation I got four free!”
They were fantastic.”
He continued, “I’m blessed.
I have great health care.
He also took a moment to encourage viewers to make healthy decisions in their own lives.
