Actually, sir, we did.

They came in limos, on a go-kart, and even in the back of a speedboat.

They arrived bearing gifts, from a traditional Hawaiian lei to a giant brassiere to cans of beer.

They flirted, they fretted, they cried, and they bickered.

ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: First off, would you mind telling us how to pronounce your last name?

JOEY GRAZIADEI: It’s Graz-uh-day.

Oh dear, I’ve been saying it wrong.

You do not need to apologize.

It is not an easy last name.

It was quite bold.

Yeah, that was one that I didn’t expect.

She put me in a little bit of a tough spot with that one.

That’s one that I have to remember my family’s watching when I do that kind of stuff.

Cut to night one, and by my count, you kissed seven different women!

You didn’t have to count, okay?

You didn’t have to count.

[Laughs] Yeah, I think that’s just one of those things.

So it’s just kind of how it goes on the first night.

There’s a lot of those opportunities to get to know someone.

I don’t regret anything, but I do need to apologize to my sister.

What did you think about that decision?

Lea did a great job handling that situation.

I gave her a lot of credit on the show, and I’ll continue to give it throughout.

She knew she had a situation that was different.

It told me a lot about who she is as a person and her character.

One unusual thing about this premiere episode is that we didn’t see you in the shower… …though we did see some shirtless tennis.

Did you have to shower on camera this season?

And if so, how did you cope with that?

I think there was one scene.

I hope it was just one.

I don’t know the shirtless stuff.

It is what it is.

I know it’s part of being in the role, and it happens from time to time.

The audience knew coming in that Lauren and Allison were sisters, but you didn’t.

And when they revealed their secret, you had already figured it out.

When did you first start getting a sense that they were sisters?

After I talked to Allison, I kind of put together how the stories were so similar.

Like, “I’ve heard this conversation before.”

They definitely have a similar look, and they’re from Philly.

How did you feel about the producers putting you in the position of having to choose between sisters?

It is obviously an odd spot.

If they were okay, then I was okay.

True or false: The Devil works hard, butBachelorproducers work harder.

That is true, just because those guys go towork.

They are great people, so let me clear that up as much as possible.

But those producers put in hours and they go towork.

I love all of them and I’m saying true because they work hard.

I’m not saying “true” because they’re like the Devil at all.

I want to clear that up as much as I can.

What was that experience like, and what style were you going for?

I love that man so much.

I will talk about Cary forever.

He pushed my limits sometimes.
