Odenkirk suffered a small heart attack back in the summer of 2021.
When the medic came around the corner and saw Odenkirk, he “froze” in his tracks.
“And he said, ‘Oh no.'”

Later, the medic apologized for freezing up before taking the appropriate action.
“Weeks later when I came back, he said, ‘Im so sorry.
It was my first day, I have been a firefighter’ he was retired ‘Ive never done CPR.
l have only ever seen other people do it,’ Odenkirk said.
Days later, he described the incident as a “small heart attack.”
He returned to work on the final season in early September 2021, with theseries finaleairing the following year.
