This is now O’Hara’s third Super Bowl ad.

“The first time I met him was onBeetlejuice Beetlejuice,” O’Hara says of Dafoe.
“I really only worked with the model they made of his body.
I said ‘excuse me’ every time I walked by.

I forgot that it wasn’t him.
So I didn’t really get to spend much time with him.
Who’s better at pickleball, O’Hara or Dafoe?
Most likely Dafoe, she admits.
“He said that he had not only never played pickleball, but he hadn’t heard of it.
But, boy, did he catch on quickly.
He lives in Italy a lot of the year, and I think he films all over the world.
So I guess he wasn’t really paying attention to the pickleball phenomenon.”
She could, however, likely beat him at another game.
“I can hustle at pool,” she says.
“My brothers used to run a pool hall in Toronto.
I did learn some good tricks.”
