In her newly released self-titled memoir,Cherdetails her not-so-cute first meeting with Beatty.

Beatty then asked Cher if she wanted to get something to eat and invited her back to his place.
Beatty then asked to talk to Cher’s mom.
“She literally melted in front of my eyes.
Ten minutes later, she was inviting him over.”
“He was funny,” Cher says.
So for me, it was kind of fascinating.
