Did you pick up any good tips there?
DAVID GENAT: Man, I picked up some great tips from Maria-Grace.

I actually think she would probably lowkey be good atSurvivor.
There was quite a few of those actually, and that was the one that really hit.
But it was super fun.

Knowing that that’s happening and just letting someone buy into it it was pretty delicious.
I’m not going to lie.
What about when Will asked you what show you won?

Was he tipped off or did he really figure that out on his own?
I don’t know.
Will is actually really smart.
So I don’t know if he was tipped off.
I mean, I wouldn’t put it past Will to have done something shady to find that out.
But I definitely clenched my butt cheeks when he said that.
Fortunately for me, there was no one else around when he said it.
What was it like at this point in the game for you dealing with all the antics?
So the frustration really builds.
I’m trying to make a mountain out of a molehill.
How did this happen?
When I’m doing challenges, I just kind of don’t really care about the result.
I think fate has this weird way of sorting it out.
If Lete hadn’t really seen what happened, I don’t think anyone else really noticed.
But then once it had been mentioned, it just became a huge deal.
And then watching it back, she looked so guilty!
Have you ever seen anyone look so guilty in your life?
She was really like, Sorry!
which, for me, was really surprising.
But CK was like, Yeah, I cheated."
But it really unraveled that whole alliance, which was amazing for us.
But then, I don’t know.
Obviously, you, Parvati, and Dr. Will bring a savviness from having played before.
Who among the newbies had impressed you the most at this point in terms of strategy and social game?
I mean, honestly, CK was impressive to me strategy-wise.
Parv says she’s a bit of a hot mess, which she was.
But that takes a lot of courage to be able to make those moves, especially kind of publicly.
Who I was most impressed with socially was La Shell.
It’s so hard to put that on screen.
But La Shells social game was impeccable.
People loved La Shell, and that’s why I was actually really scared of her.
I thought, Man, no one is going to want to put La Shell out of the game.
I know I would.
I know the veterans probably would, but she was really, really beloved.
So her social game was going great.
And then obviously Phillip as well.
I feel like Phillip really had a lot of alliances going.
We see a lot of him with Parv, but I was very tight with Phillip.
TheBoston Rob handbook, which is very true.
He was playing really well.
So what has yourrealfamilys reaction been to watching your new TV family?
Yeah, like Dad, have we got another son?
What’s going on here?
No, they’re loving it.
They love the show.
I guess I treat it like it’s an acting role.
It’s like open season.
I can kind of do what I want in the show.
So they’ve been really enjoying it.
I think they like to see that side of me.
I think the side they get is pretty nice and regular and probably boring.
So then they see me out there being crazy.
What’s been the reaction fromAustralian Survivorfans seeing you now on this different show?
Well, I’ve definitely found out thatBig Brotherfans are nuts.
I’m getting some serious troll messages on Instagram, which is fun.
I like that.Australian Survivorfans love it.
I think I’m kind of doing what I do best.
Whereas with this, I feel like I’m kind of getting a hero edit.
I’m sticking up for Dickson, the little guy, and people are calling him a weasel.
I’m like, Don’t call him a weasel."
But yeah, thoseBig Brotherfans… man, don’t @ me.
Has Will sent you the clip of him from 20 years ago onBig Brothercalling himself a Golden God?
I thought it was AI!
I was like, That’s not real!
I can’t, Dalton.
It’s like, Luke, I am your father.
Let him slice my hand off and fall into the Death Star.
I couldn’t believe it.
Because for me, that’s always been a [Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia] reference.
I’m a bigAlways Sunnyfan and it was a little homage I was doing.
And then to see he was doing it beforetheywere doing it.
Will’s literally invented everything on reality TV!
