This will be the second time Eilish and O’Connell take the stage at the Oscars.

That song earned themtheir first Oscars.

This will be George’s first Academy Awards performance, and it’s also his first nomination.

George is the first writer of Osage descent to earn the honor.

The lyrics, sung in Osage, are simple, he toldVariety.

The next phrase translates as God made it for us," George said.

“The expression Im trying to say is Stand up, be tall, and be proud.

Jon Batiste

Jon Batisteis a man of many talents.

Batiste has not performed at the Oscars previously, but he does already have a win under his belt.

He scored a statuette for Best Original Score for the Pixar film,Soul.

He shared that win withTrent Reznorand Atticus Ross.

This is Wilson’s first nomination.

She will be the only performer who isn’t also a nominee, even though she sings the song.

The film’s Best Original Song nomination goes toDiane Warren, who wrote “The Fire Inside”.

This is Warren’s 15th nomination, all of which are for Best Original Song.

Despite the huge number of nominations, none of Warren’s compositions have earned her a statuette.
