But when he got the chance to meet the realGrogu, a.k.a.

Baby Yoda, things didn’t go quite as planned.

“He loves them.

He wants to take them everywhere.”

“We were like, ‘Laurie, you’re going to meet the real Grogu!’

And he was like, a year and a half at this point,” she continued.

“He freaked out,” McGregor deadpanned as hostJimmy Fallonburst into laughter.

“He lost it.

He did not like it.”

So much so that, McGregor revealed, it startled Grogu’s handlers.

“The puppeteers were like, ‘Oh, sorry.

Sorry,'” he added.

“[Laurie] was, like, screaming his head off.”

Winsteadpreviously told EWthat Laurie was “obsessed” with Grogu, and certainly no stranger toStar Warsparaphernalia.

“In terms of our son’s favorite toys, he’s got his Grogu,” she said.

“He’s got Lola from theObi-Wanseries.

There’s a lot of Dadas around from various different eras of Obi-Wan.

If he sees any sort of Obi-Wan figure around, that’s Dada.

That’s what he knows it as right now.”
