The formerDancing With the Starshost announced on Instagram over the weekend that her breast cancer has returned.

“But I have a recurrence of breast cancer.

She added, “It is tiny.

And I’m going to live and thrive and live my healthiest, healthy life.”

In her latest update, Harris posted to Instagram, “First diagnosed in 2014 at age 40.

Shocked to have it again.

She detailed her latest cancer surgery in the reel, which happened on Aug. 13.

She first had a surgical clip put in her breast to identify the location of her new cancerous tumor.

She then went in for a partial mastectomy to have the cancerous tissue removed.

The clip ends with her in a hospital bed, ready for surgery.

Husband Michael Hess and their two daughters were with her in the hospital for support.

Since then, Harris has sought to help other people avoid cancer and live healthier lives.

Just this year, she launched a health podcast with the same name,Your Healthiest Healthy.

“I was feeling….happier than ever 10 years after my initial diagnosis,” Harris says.

“But when I came back from Croatia, I needed to get a biopsy.

Thank goodness I was vigilant.

We got scans, and thank goodness all of the scans were clear of metastasis.

That was my biggest worry.

Now, on to the journey.”

Harris promised to provide her followers with further updates as she battles this latest round with cancer.
