It was really awesome, Wolfhard tells EW.
I read that [scene in the script] and I was like, ‘Oh, this is crazy.
Like, I get to be the one that gets slimed.

According to Wolfhard, Trevors surprise sliming was brought to life through practical effects.
They had this squib that like goes off when the slime comes out of me, he recalls.
I guess it would be like gelatin mix?
And, in all honesty, he says that ectoplasm really wasnt that bad to eat.
It was almost like minty, thick water, he explains.
Way less sugary and gross.
