“I had an idea in mind that I never went and followed through with,” Black said.
“I don’t wanna repeat it because now it really sounds stupid in my mind.
But my audition was gonna be, basically I was gonna be a superhero that I created.

The actor had no confidence in the concept.
“But I never pulled the trigger.”
He continued: “That’s the constant battle, is the fear of failure.

Sometimes you’re up for the battle, and sometimes you’re just like, ‘Uh, pass.’
Black also reflected on his recent experience hostingSNLfor the first time since 2005.
“You could’ve been a cast member,” Poehler told Black.
“No, I don’t think I could,” theKung Fu Pandastar responded.
“I don’t think I could handle it week-in and week-out.
Once every 20 years is more my speed for that gig.”

“And I’ve been chasing the dragon ever since, really.
So what we want you to do is this totally different thing.'
The audition, it’s just for that room.”
