Jake Gyllenhaaldid not walk away from filming his newRoad Housemovie unscathed.
There, he spends most of his time engaged in violent, bloody, bare-knuckle brawls.
And, it turns out, some of that blood wasn’t fake.

“I felt the glass going in my hand,” he said.
“I remember the feeling [and] went, ‘Thats a lot of glass.'”
“My whole arm swelled up.
It ended up being staph.”
