A Jane’s Addiction concert in Boston ended abruptly after singerPerry Farrellthrew a punch at guitarist Dave Navarro.

Soon after, more crew members and bassist Eric Avery restrain Farrell as Navarro walks away.

Farrell’s wife, Etty Lau Farrell,posted about the incident on Instagramon Saturday morning.

“Clearly there had been a lot of tension and animosity between the members,” she wrote.

“The magic that made the band so dynamic.

Well, the dynamite was lit.

Perry got up in Dave’s face and body-checked him.”

“Perrys frustration had been mounting, night after night,” she wrote.

Perry had been suffering from tinnitus and a sore throat every night.

“Dave walked away to take his guitar off.

Kevin, [the] crew member with [long hair], pulled Eric away.

The singer’s wife also described the aftermath of the heated encounter.

“Dave still looked handsome and cool in the middle of a fight,” she wrote.
