The 25-year-old physician’s assistant student is the franchise’s first-ever Asian lead.
It’s Jenn Trann, the 25-year-old physician’s assistant student from Miami, Florida.
In addition to being a surprise pick, Jenn is also the first-ever Asian star of aBachelorfranchise.

“I’m overwhelmed, it’s crazy,” Tran said.
“It feels so surreal to be sitting here.”
“Growing up, I always wanted to see Asian representation on TV,” she explained.

Jenn was a consistently pleasant presence on Joey’s season ofThe Bachelor.
She arrived ina go-kart on premiere night, andwent surfing with the Bachelorduring their one-on-one date in week three.
Despite his “connection” with Jenn, Joeyultimately sent her packingthe week before hometown dates.
“She’s never really seen me as, like, a full adult,” she explained.
“She’s the woman I want to be when I grow up,” said Jenn.
“She honestly just means everything to me.
