“But it was based on the [project].
It wasn’t based on him.”
If James Cameron came to me and said, ‘Hey, man, why’d you say that?’
I’d go, ‘Because it happened.'"

“I went in to pitch a different idea.
The actor immediately accepted the offer because he’d had a positive experience working withDunedirectorDenis VilleneuveonSicarioin 2015.
The actor also reflected on a failedHunchback of Notre Dameproduction that never saw the light of day.
“I was just like, ‘What the f—?’
And we were all in, and then the studio had a problem.
I even offered it to theCoensat one point.”
