As Bowen explained to Garth, the “feud” between the two stars had been entirely fabricated.
Reps for Bowen and Vergara did not immediately respond toEntertainment Weekly’s request for comment.
Garth is no stranger to being pit against a female costar either, as Bowen pointed it out.
AfterDoherty’s recent deathat age 53, Garth has been opening up aboutmemoriesof theCharmedstar.
Bowen recalled that “the press kept trying to make me and Sofia sort of Betty and Veronica.”
But it didn’t work.
“I found that to be really disappointing on the part of the press.
But I just never fed into that,” she said.
