Kristin Cavallariis opening up about a frightening memory that she’s still hiding from her kids.
At one point, their HVAC unit broke, leading them to call in workers to fix it.

Later that night, Cavallari woke to an unexpected sight.
“That night, I had Camden in the bed with me,” she recalled.
Understandably disoriented, the reality star didn’t immediately grasp what she was witnessing.

“I was so out of it because obviously I had just woken up,” Cavallari said.
“And I go, ‘What the f— are you doing?’
And then I went ‘Oh, f—.'”
It wasn’t until the intruder fled that the reality of the situation began to sink in.
Still, Cavallari managed to remain calm.
“Because Cam was in the bed with me, I didn’t yell.
I didn’t scream,” she said.
I honestly felt like I was inMission Impossible.”
You’re like, ‘Go.’
I felt like a Navy SEAL."
“Once I woke Jay up, then I got really nervous,” she admitted.
“Then I got like, really scared.
I started shaking, and I was able to process then what just happened.
But until that point, I was not scared.
I was really calm.
Again, you just are running off of instinct.”
We ended up getting it back.
We found out who it was it was the HVAC guy."
To this day, Cavallari has no plans to tell the story to her kids until they hit adulthood.
“I just think some things kids do not need to know,” she said.
“And scary stuff like that, I will take that one.
I will hold that one in.”
They finalized the divorce two years later.
