Davis knows now that the move was a “horrible mistake.”

She cautioned that anyone listening should not loan money to someone they’re dating.

“Do not do it,” Davis advised.

“It doesnt end well.”

In her case, it wasn’t immediate, but it happened just the same.

“But I probably should have known better.

You know what Im saying?

But I just felt like,I can help, I should help this guy.

He’s so talented which he is.

I lend him money.

I think it was all of $5,000.

So I lent him this money and then, you know, he stops calling.

So Im like, ‘What the heck?'”

Although Davis attempted to confront him, things didn’t go as planned.

“I remember going over to his apartment and banging on the door,” she said.

But I was like, ‘Is he in there and pretending that he is not in there?'"

The mystery man later called Davis to ask if that was her banging on his door.

“And I was like, ‘Well, yes,'” Davis recalled.

“I felt so embarrassed, like I was being messy.”

Wynter reassured her that she had every right to want her money back.

She said that Davis should get it back with interest now.

When Wynter suggested that Davis show up at his home again, theCouples Retreatstar said no.

In the meantime, new episodes of her podcast are available weekly.
