After only three couples get engaged in the pods (the least of any season!
But for Taylor and JP, the romance ends as soon as they see each other in person.

During their reveal, JP immediately grows quiet and Taylor can’t get over how awkward it gets.
She keeps confronting JP about how awkward their relationship has become, since it clearly changed after the pods.
“A lot of makeup.
I had makeup all over my jacket … Just don’t wear makeup.”
He also tells Taylor that he thinks 99 percent of women would love to hear that.
“I also don’t think he was being completely transparent about everything.
I think there’s a deeper issue there still don’t know what it is.
I plan to figure it out.
But it was hurtful.
He put the blame on somebody for the way they look.
That’s a big deal, a big step in a relationship.
I did not think him and I were ready for that.
The situation wasn’t getting any better.
I thought it would after our conversation, but honestly it just got worse.
I wasn’t a 100 percent in it and I don’t think he was either.”
His decision to blame her appearance made it that much easier to end things.
“I don’t think moving home with him would’ve fixed anything,” she says.
“Probably would’ve driven us to really bad terms.
So I think I made the right decision.
