“I offered her whatever she would want.
But, of course, that bond is not something that you’re able to separate.
I just fell in love with him.”

The love for Ukai was felt throughout the Wahlberg household.
The actor told PEOPLE that his four children “wanted me to bring him home” as well.
“But I completely understood,” he said.
“I took a shot.”
Wahlberg plays a fictionalized version of Lindnord in the movie.
However, the relationship between him and Ukai clearly continued off-screen.
Wahlberg and Ukai recently appeared in a PSA about the importance of pet adoption.
