The Los Angeles Police Departmentconfirmed to PEOPLEthat authorities' investigation into theFriendsactor’s passing has concluded.

The L.A. County Medical Examiner’s online database alsolists the case as closed.

At the time, authorities said there wasno indication of foul play.

Last month authorities disclosed thatthe actor’s death was sparked by"acute effects of ketamine."

Drowning, coronary artery disease, and buprenorphine effects were also determined to be contributors to his death.
