Patravadi spoke about the series in arecent interview.
“Its all about Thailand.
Glenn appeared in the penultimate episode ofThe White Lotusas Jim, the rich and successful husband of Sritala.
Speaking withVariety, he said he believes that Jim is the one who named the resort.
“My guess is that [Jim] named the hotel chain the White Lotus,” he said.
“Turns out, the lotus is the ultimate symbol of enlightenment.
The red lotus represents love and compassion.
The blue lotus is wisdom and intelligence.
The most important and rarest of all is the white lotus it stands for mental purity and spiritual perfection.
