Michael Lerner was born in Brooklyn on June 22, 1941.
At age 13, the sports aficionado appeared as a “quiz kid” on a local TV show.
“She made a movie comprised of bare asses walking on a treadmill,“Lerner said.
“I’m in it and so is Paul McCartney.
Plus I’m doing narration about censorship and all that crap.”
He would revisit similar territory years later with the Coen brothers.
But Lerner still came away a winner.
