The “Vampire Diaries” star says boyfriend Shaun White helped her at the Olympics.
“I think I’m doing pretty well,” Dobrev toldPEOPLEon Wednesday.
She added that doctors “were pretty surprised” at her progress so far.

“I was in a wheelie, lost control, whiskey throttled, bike flew.
Dobrev, 35, has only been working her way back to health for about three-and-a-half months.
“So there’s still a ways to go,” she said.
And so they start doing normal things.
And it’s good she did.
We had my canes and he was there by my side taking care of me the whole time.”
