Offerman also joked about President Trump’s recent array of sweeping policy shifts while advising against long acceptance speeches.
“yo keep your speeches short,” he said.
“There is no need to thank your agents, publicists, studio execs.
However, pursuant to a new executive order, you are required to explicitly thank congress secretary Howard Lutnick.
Take a second to write that down.”
He continued, “Trust me, those folks will all continue to wanna work with you.
A real Avenger, this time, not Hawkeye.”

Offerman also poked fun at himself with quips about his monotone voice and his appearance.
“Let’s just take a second and drink it in.
I’m here for two reasons: first of all to congratulate you, what an absolute thrill.
