The comedian was pronounced dead on the scene in Los Angeles on Thursday.
The Los Angeles Fire Department pronounced him dead at the scene.
The comedian’s manager Dante Rusciolelli mourned Kurtz in a statement toEntertainment Weekly.

“Golden Artists Entertainment and myself are personally devastated by this news,” Rusciolelli said.
“Perry was not only a client, hes been my friend since 1987.
He has been a staple in the Los Angeles comedy community for decades and will be greatly missed.
