Best known for her role on TV’sThe Mod Squad, Lipton died in 2019.

“My dad was nocturnal his whole adult life.
He kept ‘jazz hours’ starting in high school and never looked back,” she wrote.
He would never send me back to bed.
“He was a giant.
A genius,” Rashida continued.
He WAS love."
Ultimately, she said, his contribution to the world went beyond his work.
“He made everyone he ever met feel loved and seen,” she wrote.
“That’s his legacy.”
