“But I didAlienas my second movie, so I didn’t have much choice.
AndBlade Runnerwas my third movie.
So, I had no choice because I had very tough partners.
It was kind of ‘Welcome to Hollywood.'”
He added, “I was never told or asked [about sequels].
you could imagine I wasn’t happy.”

Instead of Scott, the sequel to 1979’sAlien,released in 1986 and calledAliens, was directed byJames Cameron.
Released in 2017, the movie starredRyan Gosling.
Scott is still involved with those franchises, though.

Gladiator 2premieres in theaters on Nov. 22.
