But things quickly spiraled out of control.
Mathews, in all his bedazzled glory, seemed to predict that trouble was brewing seconds before it happened.
I can’t even begin to tell you!"
“Oh my god, Drew!”
My fingernail’s in there!"
Barrymore and Drummond screamed as they fished the nail out with a spoon.
Taking the casual nail drop in stride, Barrymore declared, “We’re just going with it!”
Drummond attempted to help Mathews glue the nail back in its proper place.
“Oh god, it’s off again.”
Barrymore drolly replied, “That’s what I’m doing.”
Mathews later found an inventive way to use the chili’s toppings to help with his costume.
“I can replace my nail with a corn chip!”
Things only got worse when Mathews was put in charge of placing their potato nachos into the oven.
At that point, a piece of his bedazzled fringe got caught inside the door of the appliance.
“Oh no, look!”
“Part of me got stuck on here!
One of my bedazzles got stuck on here!”
Barrymore, summoning Bob Ross' inner strength, quickly intervened and snapped the glitter off the door.
“I’m doing great!”
