Landon’s previous directing credits also include 2020’sFreakyand this year’s David Harbour-starringWe Have a Ghost.
It is expected that the Paramount will distribute the film.

The trio will serve as executive producers on the new film.
The first four films in the series were directed by the late, great horror directorWes Craven.
He was most recently attached toa remake of the horror-comedyArachnophobia.
