FormerSouthern Charmstar Kathryn Dennis was arrested in South Carolina on Monday night and charged with driving under the influence.
She was then taken into custody and charged with a DUI for transporting an open container of alcohol.
A representative for Dennis didn’t immediately respond to EW’s for comment.

Dennis is due in court June 4, according PEOPLE.TMZ first reportedher arrest.
This isn’t Dennis' first run-in with the law.
Dennis first appeared onSouthern Charmin 2014, making a guest appearance in season 1 before becoming a series regular.
