When it comes to playing sad dads and husbands,Sterling K. Browncan’t catch a break.
But if you thought Fogelman might go a little easier on Brown forParadise,you’d be wrong.

“That would be nice,” he says with a laugh.
Still, Brown admits that the story is partly contingent on the losses within it.
“The story wouldn’t hit the same way,” he notes.

And at the end of the day, drama has loss inherent within it.
While it’s not always something you want to dive into, it does make for interesting viewing.
