Styrofoam, QR code menus, and pants without pockets also make the list.

The world is a beautiful place.

But, also, like, annoying sometimes, right?

And if were being completely honest, often populated by annoying people.

Were talking about pet peeves!

Everyone has them, and what those pet peeves are can tell you a lot about a person.

Kyle Fraser on ‘Survivor 48’

With that in mind, we asked the cast ofSurvivor 48to expound on their biggest pet peeves.

The results speak for themselves.

Kyle Fraser

I have two very different things, but they’re equally annoying to me.

Kamilla Karthigesu on ‘Survivor 48’

I f—ing hate… sorry, excuse me …

The sound, the touch, whatever that is literally my kryptonite.

Have you ever touched Styrofoam before?

Joe Hunter on ‘Survivor 48’

Joe Hunter on ‘Survivor 48’.Robert Voets/CBS

Literally, if you had a block right here, I would not do this interview.

I need to know why you’re messaging me.

Don’t just say Hello.

Saiounia “Sai” Hughley on ‘Survivor 48’

Saiounia “Sai” Hughley on ‘Survivor 48’.Robert Voets/CBS

I’m not going to respond.

I’m not going to give you back a Hello until you tell me what you want.

And I do that with people at work.

Thomas Krottinger on ‘Survivor 48’

Thomas Krottinger on ‘Survivor 48’.Robert Voets/CBS

I don’t even react to their message.

You have to tell me what you’re messaging me for.

No one just messages people Hello for no reason.

Stephanie Berger on ‘Survivor 48’

Stephanie Berger on ‘Survivor 48’.Robert Voets/CBS

Or when they message you, Can I ask you a question?

And that’s it.

They don’t ask their question!

Shauhin Davari on ‘Survivor 48’

Shauhin Davari on ‘Survivor 48’.Robert Voets/CBS

They already asked me a question by asking, Can I ask you a question?

Just ask the damn question!

It might take you an extra 10 seconds to punch in it out, but just do it.

Eva Erickson on ‘Survivor 48’

My pet peeves in general are just people that give bad hugs.

I can’t stand that.

People that cut you off in traffic or tailgate you, I cannot stand it.

Kevin Leung on ‘Survivor 48’

Kevin Leung on ‘Survivor 48’.Robert Voets/CBS

Or people that don’t say just and thank you.

I’m just a human being.

And then just rude people.

Charity Nelms on ‘Survivor 48’

Charity Nelms on ‘Survivor 48’.Robert Voets/CBS

Rude people in general are my biggest pet peeves on the planet.

They’re running around, they’re slapping things, they’re just being obnoxious.

That’s my biggest one.

Mitch Guerra on ‘Survivor 48’

Also, people who chew Juicy Fruit gum.

I hate the smell of it.

I’m not going to fly out of the front window.

Bianca Roses on ‘Survivor 48’

Bianca Roses on ‘Survivor 48’.Robert Voets/CBS

Elevator etiquette is a biggie for me.

That’s terrible when I say it out loud.

And then also, speak when spoken to.

Justin Pioppi on ‘Survivor 48’

Justin Pioppi on ‘Survivor 48’.Robert Voets/CBS

I hate people who just talk just to talk.

Thomas Krottinger

A big pet peeve of mine is being late.

So I freak out when I’m late and hold someone else up, and vice versa.

Star Toomey on ‘Survivor 48’

Star Toomey on ‘Survivor 48’.Robert Voets/CBS

I also lose my mind in traffic.

It’s not cute.

No one wants to be in the car with me if we’re in a lot of traffic.

Cedrek McFadden on ‘Survivor 48’

Stephanie Berger

QR code menus at restaurants need to f—ing go.

That is some bulls—.

I understand why they exist.

Chrissy Sarnowsky on ‘Survivor 48’

Chrissy Sarnowsky on ‘Survivor 48’.Robert Voets/CBS

I understand that they were a product of the environment.

I can’t stand when I get a little tabletop thing when I have to come in.

I don’t want to be looking at my phone during a meal.

David Kinne on ‘Survivor 48’

David Kinne on ‘Survivor 48’.Robert Voets/CBS

I’m already hopelessly addicted to that thing anyways.

I don’t want the implication that I need to have my phone.

And then sometimes the internet doesn’t work and it’s buggy.

Mary Zheng on ‘Survivor 48’

Mary Zheng on ‘Survivor 48’.Robert Voets/CBS

It’s just a terrible experience zero out of 10.

They need to go.

I love the sound of my own voice.

I’m particularly fond of how I talk.

If they step on a punchline or whatever, it just drives me up the wall.

We need to focus.

And that’s what I’m looking for.

Eva Erickson

My biggest pet peeve is just lazy people.

I’m so driven and I just hate people who are lazy about stuff, even in small ways.

It just drives me insane.

But everyone who’s not from Minnesota calls ‘em hockey pants.

Yep, I talk like this, get used to it.

So that’s a little pet peeve as well.

It gets tiresome having to constantly be like, Yeah, I know, I saidflag.

Kevin Leung

I really, really hate it when people are late.

My friends are always late, and it just drives me crazy.

And I told them six, and they’re here at two and they’re like, You ready?

I was like, What do I do for four hours?

And she’s like, There’s traffic!

And I was like, But the ride’s only 26 minutes!

So I was at the airport for about four hours.

I think it’s disrespectful and I think it’s rude.

Charity Nelms

Having your phone on full blast in public and not using headphones.

They’re in their bed.

I can see them and hear them.

I know they don’t want me to hear it.

This is for the comfort and convenience of those around you all.

Sometimes it’s super hard for me to say things just one time, much less multiple times.

People who interrupt me when I’m speaking, sometimes that’s super annoying.

Also, people who are just negative and complain for no reason.

I think that might be because that’s like me andIwant to be the center of attention, too.

Bianca Roses

I cannot stand when someone just can’t make a decision.

I’m super confident and I know what I want.

So it just bothers me when someone just can’t own it and say what they want.

I also just can’t stand when someone’s being mean for no reason.

I think you might find a second use out of anything, especially in the kitchen.

I also hate pants without pockets.

Never found use for those.

Star Toomey

Bugs that buzz.

So that’s flies, that’s mosquitoes.

I actually just learned mosquitoes buzz, and that’s actually crazy.

And I hate the heat.

I’m a person that likes to be inside.

I take a stab at stay away from the outside.

I played basketball all through my career, but I literally hate sweating because I sweat a lot.

It doesn’t matter what I do.

I’m a person where I don’t mind getting dirty.

I can get dirty, but I personally choose not to.

So it’s just going to be a challenge for me with nature.

I am out of my comfort zone.

And let’s not even get into the water!

Cedrek McFadden

So my biggest pet peeve is just tardiness.

I have a big problem with personally being late or someone else being late.

And so I want to make good use of the time I have.

Chrissy Sarnowsky

I’m a gym rat.

It just grosses me out to no end.

Another thing is when people throw garbage out their window when they’re driving in their car.

I just literally have inner road rage when I see that.

When you’re at a gas station, don’t you throw out your garbage like everybody else?

David Kinne

It really has to do with rude people.

I do believe in kindness.

And so, to me, just being rude in general grinds my gears.

Even something the other day, I was watching some of the contestants.

They were chewing with their mouths open, and I’m like, Were you raised in a barn?

I don’t understand.

Did you ever just grow up having manners?

Just having respect for yourself and the people around you is kind of key to me.

Mary Zheng

My pet peeves are when people tell me what to do.

And the people who are telling me what to do, what the hell are they talking about?

Because usually they’re forcing me to go by some rule that’s either arcane or inefficient.

I’m a slut for efficiency, and I just feel like so many times these rules are just…

I also dislike slowness.

Whether it’s fellow cyclists on the road or pedestrians.

And people who are trucks in the left lane?

you oughta understand yourself.

You’re a truck, you belong in the right lane.
