“So, that’s just not my experience.
Griffin countered, saying, “Well, I went to public school.
I believe you got to go to private school.”
Added Griffin as the show went to a commercial: “We haven’t gotten a word in!
She’s been talking for three minutes!”
When the show returned, Goldberg addressed the tension at the table.
Before we do, I just want to say this is the beauty of people who have different opinions.
Sometimes it’s messy, sometimes we’re messy,” Goldberg said.
“There’s something in the air.
Just know that something is chewing on us.”
Behar observed that it was likely Trump’s election victory that contributed to the atmosphere on the set.
The actress eventually raised her voice to get her colleagues' attention.
Griffin and Hostin haveregularly butted heads at the Hot Topics tablesince the Nov. 5 election, with increasing frequency.
“Are you going to give me a chance to answer?
I mean, this is absurd.
“This isBarbara Walters' legacy, let a woman speak!”
