Griffin maintained, however, that her feelings weren’t hurt by Goldberg’s question.
“She’s so sweet.
At the break, she was apologizing to me and giving me the heart sign.”
“It’s completely unpredictable,” she said.
She did acknowledge, however, that the query forced her to field several requests for comment.
“She’s like, ‘It just came over me.
I don’t know what happened.
“She would never be like, ‘Just shout it on air.’
But, listen, that’s what makes the show interesting!”
