The actress revealed in her recentmisSPELLINGpodcast that she currently has two of her placentas stored in her freezer.
Unsure which child," Spelling said.
“So unless I have the biggest placenta in the world, there’s two vats in there.
And this is normal,” she clarified.
“Because there’s all that fancy stuff.
I’m just too lazy to send it out.”
Spelling then apologized to a pal for continuing to store her younger son Beau’s placenta at her house.
They’ve given it to me, and I don’t know what to do with it.'"
Like a “proper best friend does,” she “did take it home,” Spelling said.
And I say, yep, next time I’m there."
Spelling also shared that she and her ex-husband,Dean McDermott, once ate a placenta together.
“Dean’s an amazing chef,” she said.
“He cooked it and seasoned it.
And it was actually really good.
My mom taught me when I was young, ‘Try everything once.
If you don’t like it, you don’t eat it again.’
And I believe in that philosophy.”
There’s been plenty of debate in recent years over the purported benefits of eating a placenta.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention haswarned against the practice even in capsule form.
Spelling shares five children with ex-husband McDermott.
Theformer couple separated in Marchafter 18 years of marriage.
