Warren lost a beach house but all of her songwriting materials and records were stored elsewhere.
“It was a beach house I’ve had for like 25 years,” Warren explains toEntertainment Weekly.
“It was a cool getaway, and it burned the first night of the fires.

But it wasn’t my primary residence, so I got very lucky.”
And, thank God, that’s okay.
A lot of my friends lost everything."
“Nothing was there,” she says.
But I have to consider myself lucky that it wasn’t worse."
“So weird that a week ago today this was my view,” she wrote alongside the image.
