Netflix’s live-actionAvatar: The Last Airbenderhas not been given the all clear for a second season just yet.

The behind-the-scenes team is preoccupied with finishing up the season 1 episodes before the Feb. 22 premiere date.

“So right now, that’s all I’m consumed with.

I don’t want to think about tomorrow yet.”

Kiawentiio, who plays waterbender Katara, started herAvatarjourney at 14 and is now 17.

There was no way we could do that.

The comet was their ticking clock, Kim explains.

The newAvatar: The Last Airbenderwill premiere its eight-episode first season on Netflix globally this Feb. 22.

But you don’t have to wait that long to sink your teeth into the upcoming live-action adaptation.

Check back with EW this coming Monday for a special reveal.
